The drum of the energy-saving rotary dryer is a rotating drum inclined at 3-5°from the horizontal line. The wet material to be dried is sent from the feeding device to the discharging port, and then the material is conveyed into the drum through the feeding screw at the discharging port, and the material is transferred from the feeding end to the discharging end. The hot air in the hot blast stove is introduced into the drum through the induced draft fan and is continuously contacted with the material to dry. With the rotation of the drum, the material is moved to the lower end by the gravity of the lifting plate. During the forward movement of the wet material in the drum, the heat is directly or indirectly obtained by the heat carrier, so that the wet material is dried, and then sent out through the discharge device at the discharge end.

A lifting plate is installed on the inner wall of the drum, and its function is to take and scatter the material, so that the contact surface between the material and the air flow is increased to increase the drying rate and promote the material to advance; At the feeding end, a movable tempo is provided, so that the larger volume materials can be scattered before entering the barrel for drying, which can increase the heating area, shorten the drying time and improve the drying efficiency; A movable chain is provided on the drum wall. During the rotation of the dryer, the chain will continuously hit the drum wall as the dryer rotates, which effectively prevents sticky materials from sticking to the wall. The heating medium is generally divided into hot air and flue gas. After the heat carrier is dried in the dryer barrel, a cyclone dust collector is generally required to collect the materials and dust in the gas to achieve the dust removal effect. If you need to further reduce the dust content of the exhaust gas, you can discharge it after passing through a bag filter or wet dust remover.
